Weekly Furnished Rentals in Raleigh (The "Flex-Week")

Raleigh

The "In-Between" Solution

Finding housing in Raleigh for a period shorter than 30 days but longer than a weekend is difficult. Hotels are expensive and lack kitchens. Standard apartments require 6-12 month leases.

Carolina Furnished Rentals (CFR) fills this gap with our Flex-Week program. We offer fully furnished single-family homes available for weekly rental (7-night minimum), providing a “Soft Landing” for professionals, patients, and relocating families.

Weekly Rental Logistics

Can I really rent a house in Raleigh for just one week?

Yes. We specialize in 7+ day stays.

Unlike corporate housing providers that require a 30-day commitment, or landlords who demand a year-long lease, our “Flex-Week” model allows you to book for exactly the time you need—whether that is 7 days, 14 days, or an indefinite weekly extension.

How does the cost compare to a Raleigh hotel?

We typically cost 30-50% less than a comparable hotel suite.

The Math: A decent hotel suite in North Hills or Downtown Raleigh often costs $200–$300/night + taxes and parking.

The CFR Value: Our homes offer multiple bedrooms, a full kitchen, and private laundry for a lower nightly rate. Plus, you save significantly on food costs by cooking your own meals rather than eating out three times a day.

Everything you need to live comfortably from Day 1.

Do you allow weekly extensions?

Yes. This is the primary benefit of the Flex-Week.

If your house repairs are delayed or your contract is extended, you can extend your stay week-by-week (subject to availability). We simply ask for communication so we can block the dates for you before they are released to the public.

Why Choose a Home Over a Hotel?

1. For Medical Stays (UNC Rex / WakeMed)

Context: You are in Raleigh for specialized treatment or a short-term nursing contract.

The Benefit: Hotels are noisy and public. Our homes offer quiet recovery. You can control your environment, cook specific dietary meals in a full kitchen, and sleep without hearing elevators or hallway ice machines. We use blackout curtains for night-shift nurses.

2. For Corporate Travelers (Tech/Biotech)

Context: You are visiting the Raleigh HQ (Red Hat, Lenovo, Bandwidth) for a sprint or training.

The Benefit: Productivity. High-speed Fiber WiFi and dedicated workspaces mean you can work effectively from the rental. You also get a private driveway—no valet fees or parking decks.

3. For Home Buyers (Gap Housing)

Context: Your closing date was pushed back by 10 days.

The Benefit: Pet-Friendly Stability. Instead of boarding your dog and squeezing your family into a double-queen hotel room, you can stay in a real home with a fenced yard. You keep your daily routine intact while waiting for your keys.
