A travel nursing contract is lucrative, but it is also exhausting. After a 12-hour shift at Duke or WakeMed, the last thing you want to deal with is a loud apartment complex, a sketchy parking lot, or a landlord who doesn’t understand what night shift means.
Carolina Furnished Rentals (CFR) provides specialized housing for the medical community. We offer safe, quiet, single-family homes that allow you to decompress, sleep, and maximize your housing stipend.

Yes. We understand the physiology of shift work.
Yes. We have strategic inventory near the Triangle’s “Big Three”:
01
You park right at your door. No walking through dark parking garages.
02
Keyless entry means you never fumble for keys in the dark.
03
We only operate in established communities with low crime rates. We do not buy “cheap flips” in transitional areas.
Is it safe for a solo traveler to come home late?
Yes. Safety is our #1 screening criteria for acquiring a property.
We know that many of our guests are single females arriving home at 7:30 PM or 4:00 AM.
We offer more value than a hotel or agency placement.
Yes. We align our leases with standard travel contract lengths.
If your contract gets extended (which happens often at Duke/Wake), we offer “First Right of Refusal” to extend your lease so you don’t have to move.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes. We know your dog is your emotional support on the road.
The CFR Difference: Hotels have weight limits. Apartments have breed restrictions and elevators. Our homes have fenced yards. You can open the back door and let your dog out in the morning while you make coffee—no leash required.
