What is Carolina Furnished Rentals (CFR)?

CFR provides fully furnished, all-inclusive temporary housing for relocations, insurance stays, and corporate travel across North Carolina.

Unlike many vacation rentals, we specialize in mid-term stays (30+ days) and “Flex-Week” leases for professionals and families, offering hotel-level cleanliness and professional management rather than a “weekend party” atmosphere.

We serve the entire Triangle region and the Coast, including Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, Wake Forest, and Wilmington.

You can submit a request through our website or call us at 919-736-6417. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 10 minutes.

The primary guest must be at least 21 years old to reserve a property.

Yes. For the safety of our neighbors and owners, we require ID verification and a background screening for all adults over 18.

We primarily offer “Extended Stay” leases (30+ days), but we also have specific “Flex-Week” (7+ day) options available for short-term needs.

Our website features high-quality photography and detailed descriptions. Due to guest occupancy, physical tours are not always possible, but we can answer specific questions about layout and amenities.

Yes. All stays require a signed agreement. For stays under 30 days, it is a Vacation Rental Agreement; for 30+ days, it is a standard lease.

After your inquiry, we confirm availability and pricing, send a link for background screening, and then send the digital agreement via DocuSign.

What is included in the rent?

Our rates are all-inclusive. One bill covers rent, all utilities (water, power, gas), high-speed Wi-Fi, streaming services, furnishings, linens, kitchenware, and lawn care.

We value transparency. You will see the rent, cleaning fee, and any pet fees before signing. There are no surprise utility bills.

For stays booked 30+ days in advance, 50% is due at signing and the remainder 3 days before arrival.

For stays starting in less than 30 days, full payment is due at the time of booking.

Security deposits are taken on a case-by-case basis depending on the specific property and length of stay.

Yes, we accept major credit cards.

Weekly rates often reflect short-term occupancy taxes and higher turnover costs, whereas stays over 90 days may be exempt from certain taxes in NC.

Yes, most of our homes are pet-friendly. We generally accept “Dogs Only” with a pet fee. Cats are typically not allowed unless you have specific written approval from the owner.

Many of our properties feature fenced yards, which is a major advantage for pet owners compared to apartment living. You can filter for this amenity on our site.

We often work directly with housing agencies and understand the ALE process to streamline billing where applicable.

Our homes offer full kitchens, separate bedrooms, private yards, and pet-friendly policies, providing “normalcy” and stability that a hotel room cannot match.

We understand the urgency of displacement. Contact us for our “Immediate Move-In” availability.

Do you accept travel nurse housing stipends?

Yes. Many nurses prefer to take their stipend and book with us directly to save money compared to agency-placed housing.

We have specific inventory located near Duke University Hospital, UNC, and WakeMed, often with easy access to shuttle lines.

We understand the needs of shift workers. Many of our properties are equipped with blackout curtains to ensure you get the rest you need.

We select properties in residential neighborhoods conducive to rest, avoiding the noise of busy apartment complexes.

If you are on a month-to-month extension, we typically require a 15-day notice to vacate.

We ask that you remove trash, start a load of towels (optional), return items to their original place, and lock the home. A full deep clean is handled by our team.
